DMX began rapping from the mid 1990s. In May 1998, He released his first album, It's DARK and HOT. Among his other albums were... and there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... again the Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ, Flesh of Flesh Blood of Blood. His album titled...And then was X was nominated for the Grammy in 2001 for Best Rap Album in 2001. Alongside his music projects, he also appeared in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Never Die Alone The Bleeding Romeo Has to Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
