Holly Hunter is an American actress and producer well recognized by her highly commendable performances in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. She won several awards including an Oscar for the movie Piano. Actresses have an extensive career of involvement in Broadway, Off-Broadway and other projects. Enthusiastic about acting from her school days she played Helen Keller in a play in the fifth grade. After suffering from the mumps, she became blind on the other side the ear. This did not stop her ambition to become an actor. When she was a teenager She studied acting before moving to New York City. Hunter met Beth Henley by chance in a lift. Together, they wrote Broadway Crimes of the Heart. The play was Hunter's first acting debut. The first time she appeared in a film was after she relocated from Los Angeles. For the past 30 years she's appeared in many TV and film shows. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity and she has won Women in Film Lucy Award.
